The ecoguardians observed an older bull elephant seal on Middle Rocks accompanied by two much smaller elephant seals. The account does not establish the smaller animals’ ages or relationships.

Anne Stewart observed a young female northern elephant seal known at the reserve as Crankypants, with visible skin wounds. She read right-hand tag A114; she considered the less legible left-hand tag possibly A476. No diagnosis is assigned here.
