Boat-ramp area and shoreline, Great Race Rock

Mike Robinson reported the return of the elephant seal known as Misery and an encounter with the male called Chunk. He described a confrontation near the ramp followed by a chase and further clashes around the island.

Middle Rocks, Race Rocks

The ecoguardians observed an older bull elephant seal on Middle Rocks accompanied by two much smaller elephant seals. The account does not establish the smaller animals’ ages or relationships.
