Julie Bowser reported two newly visiting elephant seals. One carried green tag 5086 and appeared to her to be an animal photographed at the reserve earlier that year, now missing a second tag. The previous identity is retained as tentative.

Middle Rocks, Race Rocks

The ecoguardians observed an older bull elephant seal on Middle Rocks accompanied by two much smaller elephant seals. The account does not establish the smaller animals’ ages or relationships.
