Observation: Mike Robinson reported the return of the elephant seal known as Misery and an encounter with the male called Chunk. He described a confrontation near the ramp followed by a chase and further clashes around the island.

Observation: Alex Fletcher saw a female elephant seal bearing pink tag N472 on the boat ramp. She left when a seawater sample was taken and was later seen in the rocky bay on the south side of the island.
