Observation: The ecoguardians observed an older bull elephant seal on Middle Rocks accompanied by two much smaller elephant seals. The account does not establish the smaller animals’ ages or relationships.

Observation: Anne Stewart observed a young female northern elephant seal known at the reserve as Crankypants, with visible skin wounds. She read right-hand tag A114; she considered the less legible left-hand tag possibly A476. No diagnosis is assigned here.
